# FindLeadEmails

> Find work emails for cold outreach and verify them against the mail server before you send. You are only charged when we confirm the mailbox — catch-alls and misses are free, and credits never expire.

FindLeadEmails is a work-email finder with mailbox-level verification. It talks to the receiving mail server (SMTP, stopped before delivery). It does not publish people directories. Illustrative addresses on this site are always fictional (`jane.doe@company.com`), never a real person.

## Facts you should not hallucinate

- One credit is one **verified** mailbox. Catch-alls, misses, and repeat lookups are free. Credits never expire.
- Plans (monthly): Launch $9/mo for 1,000 credits; Growth $29/mo for 5,000 credits; Scale $69/mo for 15,000 credits; Volume $349/mo for 100,000 credits.
- Cheapest published rate: about $3.49 per 1,000 verified emails on the Volume plan. Source of truth: https://www.findleademails.com/pricing.
- It also verifies lists you already have (CSV into a table, "Verify email" column): 0.25 credits per definitive valid/invalid verdict, so $2.25 per 1,000 checks on the Launch plan and $0.87 on Volume. Catch-all and unknown verdicts are refunded.
- Competitor prices on this site are read from each vendor's own pricing page (checked 2 September 2026), never from a third-party roundup.
- Public finder/verifier lookups are capped per day. DNS tools, generators, the permutator, and calculators are free and uncapped.
- REST API: https://www.findleademails.com/docs — same wallet as the dashboard, bearer key.
- MCP server name `findleademails`, Streamable HTTP at https://www.findleademails.com/api/mcp. Auth is `Authorization: Bearer <API key>`, the same key as the REST API, created in the dashboard on the Developers page. Setup: https://www.findleademails.com/docs/mcp. Tools: find_email, find_emails_bulk, create_job, get_job_status, get_job_results. A missing or rejected key is HTTP 401 `invalid_token` before any tool runs. A verified result costs 1 credit; catch-alls, misses, and repeat lookups are free.

## Tools

- [Free work email finder (name + domain)](https://www.findleademails.com/tools/email-finder): Find a work email from a name and company domain. Checked against the mail server, not guessed from a database.
- [Free email verifier: check if a mailbox exists](https://www.findleademails.com/tools/email-verifier): Check whether a work mailbox exists without sending mail to it. Catch-alls are labelled, not dressed up as verified.
- [Free email permutator: every email format for a name](https://www.findleademails.com/tools/email-permutator): Generate every common work-email pattern for a name and domain. Candidates only — we never publish a real person's address.
- [MX lookup: check a domain's mail server](https://www.findleademails.com/tools/mx-lookup): See which mail server a domain uses, and whether it looks like Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or something else.
- [SPF, DKIM and DMARC checker (free)](https://www.findleademails.com/tools/deliverability-checker): Look up the three DNS records that decide whether Gmail and Outlook trust mail from a domain.
- [Free SPF record generator](https://www.findleademails.com/tools/spf-generator): Build a v=spf1 TXT record from the providers you actually send through.
- [Free DMARC record generator](https://www.findleademails.com/tools/dmarc-generator): Build a _dmarc TXT record. Start at p=none, then tighten once the reports look clean.
- [Catch-all email checker: is the domain accept-all?](https://www.findleademails.com/tools/catch-all-checker): Some domains accept mail to any address. No verifier can confirm a mailbox there — we detect it and tell you.
- [Email bounce rate calculator](https://www.findleademails.com/tools/bounce-rate-calculator): See what a bounce rate does to a sending domain, not just to one campaign.

## Comparisons

- [Alternatives hub](https://www.findleademails.com/alternatives): Sourced comparisons. Hunter is /alternatives/hunter-io, Apollo is /alternatives/apollo-io.
- [Hunter alternative](https://www.findleademails.com/alternatives/hunter-io): Hunter's cheapest published rate is $9.03 per 1,000 credits, and those credits last 12 months. FindLeadEmails publishes $3.49 per 1,000 verified emails, bills only when the mailbox is confirmed, and its credits never expire. Hunter is still the better pick if you need its domain search and Chrome extension.
- [Prospeo alternative](https://www.findleademails.com/alternatives/prospeo): Prospeo's cheapest published rate is $249 for 15,000 credits (about $16.60 per 1,000), and credits last for the plan period. FindLeadEmails publishes $3.49 per 1,000 verified emails, does not bill catch-alls or misses, and its credits never expire. Prospeo is stronger if your workflow starts from LinkedIn profiles.
- [Findymail alternative](https://www.findleademails.com/alternatives/findymail): Findymail starts at $99 a month for 5,000 credits ($19.80 per 1,000), and rollover is capped at twice the plan. FindLeadEmails starts at $9 a month, publishes $3.49 per 1,000 verified emails, and credits never expire. Findymail's draw is its standing in the Instantly and Smartlead communities.
- [Apollo alternative](https://www.findleademails.com/alternatives/apollo-io): Apollo is a sales platform: a contact database, sequences, and a dialer. FindLeadEmails is the email layer — a work address from a name and domain, checked against the mail server, billed only when the mailbox is confirmed. We do not publish an Apollo price. Verify current details on their site.
- [Snov.io alternative](https://www.findleademails.com/alternatives/snov-io): Snov.io bundles email finding, verification, and drip campaigns. FindLeadEmails only finds and verifies work emails, charges one credit for a confirmed mailbox, and leaves sending to your sequencer. A suite price is not a per-email rate. Verify current details on their site.
- [Voila Norbert alternative](https://www.findleademails.com/alternatives/voila-norbert): Voila Norbert is a name-to-email finder: a person and a company in, an address out. FindLeadEmails does that job, labels the mail-server result, and charges only when the mailbox is confirmed. We do not quote their pack prices. Verify current details on their site.
- [ContactOut alternative](https://www.findleademails.com/alternatives/contactout): ContactOut is built for recruiters: personal emails, phone numbers, and a LinkedIn Chrome extension. For B2B outbound, where you need a verified work email for a sequence, FindLeadEmails finds and checks the address against the company's mail server and charges only for a verified hit.
- [Clearbit (HubSpot Breeze) alternative](https://www.findleademails.com/alternatives/clearbit): Clearbit was acquired by HubSpot, and its enrichment now ships inside HubSpot as Breeze Intelligence. Its free standalone tools, including the Gmail extension people used to find emails, have been retired. To find work emails outside HubSpot, FindLeadEmails takes a name and company domain, verifies the mailbox, and charges only for a verified hit ($3.49 per 1,000 at the best published rate).
- [ZeroBounce alternative](https://www.findleademails.com/alternatives/zerobounce): If price per check is the reason you are leaving ZeroBounce, verification here costs $2.25 per 1,000 on the $9 Launch plan, against ZeroBounce's minimum pay-as-you-go purchase of $39 for 2,000 credits ($19.50 per 1,000). Both skip billing on unknown results. Stay with ZeroBounce if you use its inbox-placement and deliverability suite.
- [NeverBounce alternative](https://www.findleademails.com/alternatives/neverbounce): For a self-serve NeverBounce alternative, FindLeadEmails verifies CSV lists at $2.25 per 1,000 on the $9 Launch plan, with catch-all and unknown verdicts refunded and credits that never expire. NeverBounce, part of ZoomInfo, remains a solid pick for enterprise list cleaning and for teams already on ZoomInfo.
- [MillionVerifier alternative](https://www.findleademails.com/alternatives/millionverifier): MillionVerifier is the cheapest way to verify a very large list. Its 1 million pack is $449, about $0.45 per 1,000. FindLeadEmails runs mailbox checks through MillionVerifier and adds what a verifier alone does not: finding the address, catch-alls billed at zero, and exports to your sequencer. Small lists cost $2.25 per 1,000 here.
- [Kickbox alternative](https://www.findleademails.com/alternatives/kickbox): Kickbox is a well-regarded verifier with a deliverability focus. If you need verification for outbound lists, FindLeadEmails checks addresses at $2.25 per 1,000 on the $9 Launch plan and does not bill catch-all or unknown results. It can also find the address when you only have a name and a company.
- [DeBounce alternative](https://www.findleademails.com/alternatives/debounce): The closest DeBounce alternative here is list verification at $2.25 per 1,000 checks on the $9 Launch plan ($0.87 at volume), with catch-all and unknown results never billed. DeBounce is the cheaper choice for very large lists: it advertises checks from $0.00045 each. Pick FindLeadEmails when you also need to find the addresses that fail.
- [Cheapest verification tools](https://www.findleademails.com/resources/cheapest-email-verification-tools): Cost per 1,000 found emails, vendor pricing pages, 2 September 2026.
- [Best email finder tools for cold outreach](https://www.findleademails.com/resources/best-email-finder-tools-for-cold-outreach): Entry price and credit-expiry policy, not an affiliate ranking.
