Apollo alternative

Apollo is a sales platform with a contact database, a sequencer, and a dialer. We are not that. We are the email-finding and verification layer you might put underneath it.

Where we win

  • Pay only for verified mailboxes
  • Catch-alls are not billed as valid
  • A focused API that drops into Clay or a waterfall

Where Apollo wins

  • A full engagement platform
  • A large contact graph
  • Chrome extension and sequences in one place

Pricing notes

Platform pricing, not comparable per-email. We do not claim to be a cheaper Apollo.

Figures read from Apollo’s pricing page on 2 September 2026. Checked-on date for our comparison table: 2 September 2026.

Apollo is a sales platform

Apollo combines a contact database, email sequences, a dialer, and a Chrome extension. FindLeadEmails does not. We take a first name, a last name, and a company domain, check candidate addresses against the receiving mail server, and return one labelled result: verified, catch-all, predicted, or not found.

If the job is "run outbound from one login, including calling and sequencing," Apollo is built for that. We are the finding and verification step you can put in front of a sequencer you already use.

What we will not claim

We do not publish an Apollo price, a seat count, or a credit total. Apollo sells platform plans, not a per-verified-email ladder, and those plans change. Verify current details on their site before you compare. The page to read is Apollo's pricing.

We also do not claim a higher hit rate, a larger database, or better coverage. We have not published a labelled study against Apollo, and this page will not invent one.

How billing works here

One credit is one confirmed mailbox. Catch-alls, misses, and repeat lookups are free. Credits never expire. Published plans are on pricing, starting at the $9 Launch plan. The best published monthly rate for found-and-verified emails is $3.49 per 1,000. When you already have the address, list verification is billed only on a definitive valid or invalid verdict.

The free email finder runs the same check with a daily cap and no account, so you can try a domain you already know before you buy anything.

Where the workflows differ

  • Apollo can be the whole sales stack. We export verified rows to Instantly, Smartlead, lemlist, or HubSpot, and we do not send the mail.
  • A database result can be stale. Our result is a live mailbox check, which still cannot see through a catch-all. On a catch-all we say so and charge nothing. Read catch-all emails explained.
  • The API uses the same wallet as the dashboard. There is no separate API price.

A fair test

Take a short list of names and domains you already know the outcome of. Run them in Apollo and in the free email finder. Compare the status on each row, not just whether an address appeared. Then open both pricing pages. Ours is here. Theirs you should read on their site.

Where Apollo is the better buy

You want sequences, a dialer, and a contact graph in one product, or the team already works from the Apollo extension. Do not replace that stack with a finder. Use a finder when the open question is whether a specific mailbox exists.

Apollo alternative: FAQ

Is FindLeadEmails an Apollo alternative?
For finding and verifying work emails, yes. For a sales platform with a dialer and sequences, no. The products overlap on the email and then diverge.
Is FindLeadEmails cheaper than Apollo?
We do not quote Apollo's price. Their plans are platform bundles and they change. Verify current details on their site, and compare that with our published plans, which start at the $9 Launch plan.
Does FindLeadEmails replace Apollo sequences?
No. Verified addresses export into the sequencer you already use, including Instantly, Smartlead, and HubSpot.
