The best email finder tools for cold outreach
Not a ranking — a factual rundown of entry price and credit-expiry policy, since those two things vary more between vendors than the pattern-guessing itself does.
Most email finders do the same core thing: generate likely address patterns for a name and a company domain. What actually differs between them is whether the result is checked against the real mailbox before it’s handed to you, what a subscription costs to get started, and whether unused credits expire. Figures below are each vendor’s own published numbers, checked on 2 September 2026.
Mailbox-verified against the real mail server, not pattern-only. Credits never expire.
Credits: Never expire. $499 / 100,000 credits. Pricing page
Credits: While subscribed. €0.005 / credit at 1.2M credits a year. Pricing page
Credits: 12 months. €209 / 25,000 credits. Pricing page
Credits: Plan period. $249 / 15,000 credits. Pricing page
Credits: Roll over to 2× plan. $99 / 5,000 credits. Pricing page
Credit expiry is easy to miss and expensive when you do
“12 months” or “while subscribed” on a credit-life line reads as a footnote, but it means unused credits are worth zero the moment you downgrade, cancel, or just let a year pass without spending them — a real cost if your outbound volume is seasonal or inconsistent. Vendors offering credits that never expire are, in effect, pricing lower than the headline rate suggests for anyone whose usage isn’t perfectly steady.
Entry price isn’t the whole story either
A low monthly minimum matters for trying a tool out; it says nothing about the per-email rate once you scale past the entry tier, which is where most of these vendors differentiate. See the cheapest email verification tools, compared for the per-1,000 numbers at volume, and why “verified” doesn’t always mean verified before assuming every vendor’s accuracy claim means the same thing.
