DeBounce alternative

DeBounce is a bulk email verifier. We verify lists too, bill nothing for catch-all or unknown results, and can find the address when a row fails.

Where we win

  • Catch-alls and unknowns are never billed
  • Cheaper on small and mid-sized lists
  • Finds a replacement address when a check fails

Where DeBounce wins

  • Lower raw cost per check on very large lists
  • A long list of ESP integrations

Pricing notes

Advertises checks from $0.00045 each at its largest pack; catch-all validation is priced separately.

Where DeBounce fits

DeBounce is a bulk email verifier with an API, integrations for the usual email platforms, and credits that do not expire. Its pricing page advertises checks "from $0.00045", which is $0.45 per 1,000 at its largest pack, and it prices catch-all validation separately at 10 credits per check. If you have a clean, very large list and only need a valid/invalid flag, that rate is hard to beat and we will not pretend otherwise.

Where we are the better fit

The case for switching is not the headline rate. It is three things DeBounce does not do:

  • Catch-alls cost nothing. We label them and refund the check instead of charging extra to look at them.
  • Small lists are cheap. A few thousand rows on the $9 Launch plan cost about $2.25 per 1,000, with no large pack to buy first.
  • Invalid rows can be repaired. An invalid result is often a person who changed format or company. The finder can try the other patterns for that name and domain and return a verified address.

How verification is billed here

Import a CSV into a table, add a Verify email column, and every row gets one of four verdicts: valid, invalid, catch-all, or unknown. A check costs 0.25 credits, and only a definitive answer is billed. Catch-all and unknown results are refunded automatically, because the upstream check does not tell anyone anything there either.

That works out to $2.25 per 1,000 checks on the $9 Launch plan and $0.87 per 1,000 on Volume. Credits never expire, and the same wallet pays for finding emails when the address is missing in the first place. To try a single address first, the free email verifier runs without an account.

Verifying a list versus finding the address

A verifier answers one question: does this mailbox exist? It needs the address up front. Most outbound lists have gaps: a name and a company, but no email, or an old address for someone who has moved on. A pure verifier marks those rows invalid and stops.

Here the same row can go one step further. When the address is missing or comes back invalid, the finder generates the company's likely email patterns, checks each against the mail server, and returns the one that is accepted. You pay $3.49 per 1,000 found-and-verified emails at the best published rate, and nothing for a miss.

How to switch

Export your list from DeBounce or your CRM as CSV, import it into a table, map the email column, and run the verify column. Catch-all rows can go to a separate sequence or be dropped. Valid rows export straight to Instantly, Smartlead or HubSpot.
